Paul Anderson is Senior Vice President of Industry and Government Affairs for Boyd Gaming, one of the nation’s largest casino entertainment companies. In this role, Paul oversees Boyd Gaming’s government relations initiatives across the country.

Prior to joining Boyd Gaming in 2019, Paul had a distinguished career as an elected official in the state of Nevada. First elected to the Nevada State Assembly in 2012, Paul served as Assembly Majority Leader and Chair of the Ways and Means Committee in the 2015-2016 session. In that role, Paul worked with Gov. Brian Sandoval to pass critical educational and economic reform legislation. He later led legislative special sessions that secured funding for Raiders Stadium, the expansion of the Las Vegas Convention Center, and the Tesla Gigafactory.

After leaving the legislature in 2017, Paul served as Executive Director of the Governor’s Office for Economic Development (Nevada GOED), the state agency tasked with diversifying Nevada’s economy through the recruitment of new companies and industries. Previous to joining GOED, Paul was president and founder of AndersonPC, a multimillion-dollar IT services company with clients across the western United States.

In addition to his role at Boyd Gaming, Paul currently serves as on the Board of Trustees and Immediate Past-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Vegas Chamber of Commerce.
